SHILLONG: An actress in a local Khasi movie, Diana Khyriem, has appealed to the public to take the film Shano (Where?) in a positive manner as she was apprehensive over certain explicit scenes in the movie going viral on social media.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, Khyriem said she was shocked when she found out that certain scenes from the movie were leaked on social media.
She informed that the director of the movie, Lucky D. Kharsati shared a video clip on a Whatsapp group – local film promotion, without her permission. “I am shattered over the video going viral on social media,” the actress said.
Meanwhile, the director said the actress has given her consent to shooting of some bold scenes for the movie which was the demand of the script. However, Khyriem said she was concerned over the fact that the viral video clip does not look like a movie trailer.
