RKM event
The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Quinton Road, Shillong will hold its convocation of the Computer and Language trainees in the institute premises at 9:30 am on Saturday. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will be the chief guest at the convocation. The programme consists of conferring of computer gifts, certificates, scholarships etc. to its trainees. Sister Mary Harriet, Principal, Saint Mary’s College will also be present as guest of honour.
Office bearers
The election of new Staff Council members of North-Eastern Hill University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NEHUNSA) was conducted May 30 for the term 2018-2020. The new elected office bearers of the staff council are Dr. Wandondor R. Synrem as President, Dr. Jasha Momo H. Anal as Vice-President, Dr. Batskhem Sten as General Secretary among others.
Anniversary
The Seng Treilang ki Kynthei is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its founding on June 13 at the H K Singh Memorial Hall, Unitarlan Church Madan Laban at 4pm. MLA South Shillong constituency, Sanbor Shullai will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Theilin Phanbuh, President ka Lympung Ki Seng Kynthei as Special Guest.
