Strike postponed
The MeECL Progressive Workers’ Union has informed all members across the state that the strike called from June 18 has been temporarily suspended as the management has invited the union for talks on June 18 at 4 pm. Depending on the outcome of the talks, a decision would be taken by the union regarding further strike call. 
Swimming classes
Meghalaya Swimming Association in collaboration with Marlin Aquatics Swimming Academy will conduct swimming coaching in Crinoline pool, Shillong. The academy has produced national and international champions. The annual state level Swimming Championship will be held on August 18.
