SHILLONG: In a U-turn, the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) on Monday revoked the one-year suspension of Mawhati MDC James Sylliang and Pynursla MDC Grace Kharpuri.
The suspension order was revoked after the two MDCs reportedly came to an understanding with the party after a discussion.
Speaking to reporters, PDF chairman and KHADC CEM PN Syiem said the party arrived at the decision after detailed discussions with party working president Emlang Lyttan and members of the Pynursla zonal committee.
“On the part of James Sylliang, he will remain in the party with the understanding that the party will work towards strengthening its hold in Mawhati,” Syiem added.
