Women commission condemns murder of infant

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Commission for Women has condemned the murder of a three-week-old baby at Mission Compound, Mawkhar, stating that there can be no justification for taking away the life of an innocent child, adding that the perpetrator should be booked and severely punished as per the law.
The Commission sent its condolences and prayers to the bereaved family and extended its full support for speedy recovery of the injured mother.
