Ingty gets additional charge of Home

SHILLONG: Additional Chief Secretary PW Ingty, holding the departments of Health and Family Welfare, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, will also hold Home (Police), Political, Power, Home (Passport) and Forests & Environment department, said a recent notification by government.
The reshuffle was due to the deputation of additional chief secretary M.S Rao to Delhi.
Ingty was relieved of GAD, Arts and Culture, ERTS and Sports and Youth Affairs departments.
Additional Chief Secretary P.S Thangkhiew, who is in charge of Civil Defence & Home Guards and others, will also hold charge of the General Administration Department, while another additional chief secretary H. Marwein, in charge Social Welfare department was allotted additional responsibility of ERTS and Arts and Culture department. He has been relieved of the charge of SAD.
K.N Kumar, additional chief secretary will also hold charge of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Sericulture & Weaving, Cooperation and Fisheries Departments. He has been relieved of the charge of Transport department.
R.V Suchiang, Principal Secretary in charge of Personnel & A.R. and other departments has been relieved of Forest and Environment department, while another principal secretary, D.P Wahlang will also hold the departments of Sports & Youth Affairs, Labour and the post of Chief Executive Officer, Meghalaya State Skill Development Society. He, however, is relieved of Technology & Communication department.
Abhishek Bhagotia, Secretary, Finance & ERTS departments, is relieved of Finance department, while Pravin Bakshi, Secretary to the Health & Family Welfare and others will also function as Secretary to the Finance department.
R. Lyngdoh, Secretary, Personnel &, A.R. department will also function as Secretary to the Labour department.
