SHILLONG: The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has introduced the department of Physiotherapy with Bachelor’s and Master’s programme in three major fields (ortho, neuro and sports).
The department has also started PhD programme with the aim to carry out multidisciplinary research, to use the physical therapy and science based evidence and modern technology in supporting the society.
Recently, the university has observed the International Yoga Day at their seminar hall. The programme commenced with the felicitation of guests followed by auspicious lamp lighting by the Vice Chancellor and guests.
