Health Minister holds review meeting in NGH

TURA: The first quarterly district-level review & monitoring meeting through systematic review system was held at the Circuit House, Resubelpara on Wednesday where in various activities taken up by the concerned departments were discussed.
Minister for Health & Family Welfare A.L Hek along with Resubelpara MLA T.D Shira, Kharkutta MLA Rupert Momin and Bajengdoba MLA Ponseng Marak met the heads of all line departments and reviewed the status of the ongoing centrally and state sponsored schemes.
The committee informed that systematic review system of the implementing government schemes is necessary to encourage and motivate the implementing agencies for effective implementation of the government schemes for the development of the public at large.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, S C Sadhu where he stressed upon the importance of coordination and progressive efforts among the line departments for effective implementation of the central and state funded schemes.
During the meeting, serious note pertaining to the problems and suggestions being face by the government functionaries were heard and the committee assured further redress of the issues.
Centrally sponsored Schemes discussed during the meeting were MNGREGA, PMAYG, NSAP, SSA, Mid Day Meal, ICDS, National Health Mission, NRDWP, PMGSY and schemes under Agriculture, Horticultures, Fisheries, Soil & Water Conservation and Water Resources.
