SHILLONG: A special team of police officials is probing the assault on the brother of West Shillong legislator Mahendro Rapsang on Wednesday night.
Police are yet to make any arrest.
Police constituted a team and it is examining all angles into the assault on the legislature’s borther Rishan Rapsang. A police official said the CCTV footage of the incident, which is not clear, is still being analysed.
The initial suspicion is that it may be an inside job and the motive may be to rob cash.
Rishan was carrying a bag, the assailant took away the bag, keys and documents.
Police are also probing whether there is any political angle into the incident.
