NONGPOH: Four occupants of a Maruti 800 car (ML 07 4147) sustained major injuries after one Guwahati bound truck (AS 01 FC 9795) dashed against their car around 8:00om on Tuesday at Shillong Bypass near ICAR.
The injured persons include two females and two males – all residents of Umiam. The incident occurred when they were on their way to Bhoirymbong.
Ri Bhoi police assisted in transporting the injured persons to a hospital in the city. The matter is now under police investigation.
