Sonowal felicitates tea tribe students bound for Asian University for Women in Chittagong

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal felicitated Sonali Kerketta and Bondona Pator from Dikom Tea Estate and Pollovi Das Panika from Hokonguri Tea Estate in the state  on their selection for higher studies at Asian University for Women in Chittagong in Bangladesh at his residence in Dibrugarh on Friday.

Chief Minister Sonowal while congratulating the girls, said that their selection would inspire other girls of the state also. He conveyed best wishes to them and expressed hope that they would excel in studies with hard work and perseverance. He further assured to extend all necessary support from the government in their academic pursuit.

Noteworthy that Asian University for Women is an independent, international university in Chittagong, Bangladesh and admits students solely on the basis of merit. Nearly all students are on full scholarship.
