NPP appoints new party president in WKH

NONGSTOIN: Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat was appointed as the new president of the National Peoples’ Party (NPP) West Khasi Hills District unit whereas, Setsing Dkhar, the former president of the district was appointed as one of the secretaries in the NPP Meghalaya State Unit.
The reshuffle of the post of president was done earlier this week by the party state unit.
A letter issued by the president of the NPP State Unit, said that the reshuffle of the post of president in the district is to strengthen the party in the district and he hoped that the party will work together to gain the trust and support from the people of the district.
