Three injured in separate road mishaps

SHILLONG: Three persons were injured in separate accidents reported from across the state.
In the first case, 17-year-old Chonsil Marak was injured when two trucks collided in Bajengdoba. Rari based 108 ambulance shifted the injured to Tura Civil Hospital.
In another case, a 24-year-old pedestrian, Daia Lygkhoi, was hit by a bike near Sunny Hills. The injured was shifted to CH
Another collision between two Maruti cars was reported from Thangshalai. The injured Hemant Kumar (45) was shifted to Mawryngkneng PHC.
 Suicide cases
On Saturday night, two cases of suicide attempts were reported.
In the first case, a 19-year-old girl tried to kill herself at Bishop Falls (Lumpyngad, Latyrpad).
 However, the Lawmali based 108 ambulance shifted the victim to KJP Hospital.
Another case of attempted suicide was reported from Lawmali area at 4.35 am on Sunday. A 54-year-old male tried to hang himself in his house. He is admitted in Bethany Hospital.
