Calgary, July 10 (IANS) Rapper and record producer Gerald Earl Gillum, popularly known as G-Eazy, was denied entry into Canada as he landed here to perform at a concert.
The concert had to be cancelled because of his absence, reports TMZ.
G-Eazy, 29, and his crew, got into a discussion with the Canadian custom officers when they touched down here. The rapper was the star attraction of the Cowboy Music Festival.
“Cowboys regrets to inform you that G-Eazy is unable to perform tonight due to reasons beyond our control. Refunds will be processed at the online point of purchase,” read a statement from Cowboys Dance Hall.
However, while the reason behind the denial of entry in Canada was uncertain, the “You got me” rapper had once been arrested in Sweden for cocaine possession and assault.
