SHILLONG: North Shillong MLA Adelbert Nongrum has tendered his resignation from the post of working president of KHNAM and member of its chief executive committee. He will, however, remain in the party.
Nongrum was disappointed that members of the party’s executive committee announced the candidates for Mawkhar-Pynthor and Jaiaw- Mawprem for the district council election.
He added that he was not privy to the decision as he was not present during the meeting on June 26.
