SHILLONG: The HYC central body and Jaintia Hills District along with Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) met the SP of West Jaintia Hills, Vivek Syiem urging him to arrest all the culprits involved in the murder of Waheh Shnong and secretary of Amlanai.
The organisations have pointed out that the arrested persons should be booked under stringent sections of the law.
Syiem informed the groups that the case has been taken seriously and investigated the case to nab more culprits.
Earlier, three persons, including the headman of a village in Amlarem civil sub-division, were murdered allegedly over personal enmity.
