SHILLONG: Health Minister A L Hek along with officers from the Health Department and doctors from North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, inspected the Dispensary at Nongmensong. The inspection comes at a time when there is a move to sign an MOU with the Health Department, NEIGHRIMS and Dorbar Shnong Nongmynsong for upgrading the dispensary to an Urban Health Centre.
“The Urban Health Centre will have doctors who will give 24 hour services to the patients,” Hek said.
He said that the process for upgrading the dispensary will start once the MoU is finalised.
