Principal, Meghalaya State Fisheries Research & Training Institute, Mawpun, Umiam lodged an FIR that on July 10, Zetwal Marak who was undergoing training, went missing from the Institute. Matter is under enquiry.

Man injured in car accident
Maruti Swift car dashed against a culvert at Shangbangla on July 13. As a result, driver of the car sustained injuries and was shifted to a hospital in Nongpoh.
Woman stabbed
Shirley Lim of Lower Lachumiere, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on July 13 around 6.30 am, she received a call from Joy Rabha to open the door of their room as the man claimed that they were locked inside. While returning after unlocking the door, a person identified as John Marak stabbed Lim with a knife and pushed her and her daughter. The accused also hit Pradip Koch with a water pipe.
Goon assaults man in SWGH
Muktadir Rahman of Mahendraganj Forest Check Post (South West Garo Hills) lodged a complaint that on July 11 around 4.15 pm, unidentified occupants of one Mahindra Pick-up vehicle without number plate, assaulted him and fled away towards Assam.
