One killed, two injured in separate accidents

SHILLONG: One person was killed when an oil tanker lost control and rammed into a tea shop after dashing with another truck in East Jaintia Hills.
The police said that the accident happened on July 13, when an unknown truck dashed against a LPG tanker truck (AS-04-AC-2122) driven by Subuj Shah at Ratacherra NH-44 (EJH). Kelly Pohshna (62) who was inside the tea shop was killed.
In another incident on Sunday, a scooty and a car (LMV) met with an accident at Pomura where Firmly Ryngkhlem (27) sustained injuries. He was shifted to NEIGRIHMS by 108 Mawryngkneng ambulance.
While another accident was reported at Jhalupara where Vishal Sharma (17) sustained injuries when his scooty skid. He was later shifted to Civil Hospital.
Assault
On Sunday an assault case was reported from Mawngap where Darilang Kurbah (28) was stabbed by her husband.
