NGOs seized illegal timber

TURA: llegal timber from Garo Hills which was being smuggled out to neighbouring Assam was  intercepted and seized by members of the AAYF, AGPF and PJAC at Sambrak Village in North Garo Hills on Thursday morning. The consignment of illegal timber which was intercepted by the NGOs at around 3:30 am, has been deposited  to Dainadubi Forest Range and an FIR has also been filed.
