SHILLONG: A company known as Finergy Serve from New Delhi on Friday submitted a proposal to the Health and Family Welfare Minister, AL Hek to start creating awareness about fitness about health in the state.
Talking to media persons, Director of the firm, Mohit Suri said that they provide health diagnostics at corporate, city and they intend to have customized awareness camps and focused guidance after detailed study and diagnostics.
Stating that they assist corporate and Government bodies in meeting their corporate social responsibility and improve productivity, he added that their programmes helped save medical bills and improve employee productivity by up to 30 per cent
Under the proposal, the fitness experts would assess the audience, spread awareness about the importance of health and provide various options to the clients.
On the other hand, Health Minister, AL Hek said that the firm said that they would bring the fund for the programme through the Central Government and only at times, they would be needing around 10-15 percent of the funding.
The firm also told the Minister that they were keen to setup a diagnostic centre here in Shillong for the fitness.
“There is any proposal is for the benefit of the people of Meghalaya, we welcome it,” Hek added.
