Two injured in accident
On July 21 noon, one Maruti Gypsy (ML-05-008A ) driven by Holibirth A Sangma (32) collided with one Bolero Camper (AS-01HC-2735) driven by Barikupar Dhar (32) at Mahadevkhola, Upper Shillong. As a result, two occupants of the Gypsy sustained minor injuries.
NGT violation
On July 19 around 4.30 am, police detected one dumper truck (ML-11-7357) driven by Vini Arki Sutnga, while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Byndihati (EJH).
Theft
On July 4, miscreants broke into the house of Tharsila Syih and Juliana Syih at Lad Sutnga (EJH) and stole cash Rs 15,000 and a cell-phone.
