SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council CEM, H S Shylla has allotted portfolios to the nine Executive Members (EMs) of the Council.
Antonio War got charge of Trade and IT, Donkupar Sumer was allotted Council Building department, Rona Khymdeit got charge of Forest Department. War, Sumer and Khymdeit are UDP MDCs.
People’s Democratic Front (PDF) rebel MDC James Sylliang got the charge of Elaka Department while his PDF colleague, Latiplang Kharkongor was allotted the Department of Town Committees and Mines and Minerals. Another PDF MDC Blandingstar Warjri was given the charge of revenue and labour.
NPP MDC Victor Ranee was allotted the department of Arts and Culture and Youth Affairs while another NPP MDC Jansing Tynsong got charge of Market.
Independent MDC Ricky Shullai got charge of Taxation and Water Resources.
