Patient’s family vandalises hospital
Dr. Flora N.T Sangma, M&HO Mahendraganj CHC, lodged a complaint that on July 20 around 12.50 pm, Nazmul Haque (61) was admitted at the CHC, due to his illness. Around 2 pm, the condition of the patient deteriorated and at about 2.30 pm, he died. Following this, the relatives of the patient became furious, broke the windows and signboard of the CHC, verbally abused and threatened the doctor and staff of the CHC.
GNLA extortion
Saidul Islam Marak of Nagalpara village (SWGH) lodged a complaint that on July 19 around 7 pm, he received one envelope containing one bullet and one demand note for Rs. 7 lakh, in the name of GNLA.
Man assaults wife
A woman lodged a complaint that on July 18 around 7.30 pm, her husband Rojan N Sangma assaulted and strangulated her in their residence at Dainadubi (NGH).
Theft
On June 25, one motorcycle (ML-08E-5801) belonging to Juben Sangma was found missing from his residence at Lawsohtun, Block-IV, Shillong.
On July 21 at 1 pm, miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08D-0284) belonging to Banang M Marak from Ampati Bazar.
On July 20, miscreants stole music system from a vehicle (WB-16S-4614) belonging to Deepak Dorjee, which was parked at Laban, Streamlet Road, Shillong.
Kalita R Marak of Pillangkata village lodged a complaint that on the night of July 19 night, miscreants broke into her house and stole, three steel almirahs, documents of Maruti Wagon-R B/R No. AS-01AV-1869), driving license, laptop computer, EPIC, ADHAAR Card and PAN Card.
Barsha Mahanta Borgohain lodged a complaint that on July 11 around 7.45 pm, miscreant snatched her cell-phone near Rhino Training Centre, Shillong and fled away.

Monica Thakuri of Lapalang, lodged a complaint that three persons namely Puja Sharma, Rohan Gupta and Audesh Mathur, fraudulently cheated her of Rs. 86,195, which she had deposited through Net Banking Vision India.

Deepa Dhaniyal of Madanrting lodged a complaint that on July 20, miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 34,000 from her Bank account at SBI, HQ, DGAR, Laitkor Branch.
Cyber bully
A woman of Nongmensong, Langkyrding, Shillong lodged a complaint that on July 18 at 7 pm, miscreants posted indecent comments against her photographs in Facebook.
