Protesters burn an effigy of President Rodrigo Duterte prior to marching towards the Philippine Congress to coincide with his third State of the Nation Address on Monday in Quezon city, northeast of Manila. The protesters assailed Duterte allegedly for failing in his promises to alleviate poverty as well as his so-called war on drugs which saw the killings of thousands, mostly the poor. (PTI)
