Student secures 19th position after re-evaluation

SHILLONG: Suman Chanda had missed the Top 20 list by one mark after the 2018 SSLC examinations were declared earlier and applied for re-evaluation on his social studies paper.
After re-evaluation, the MBoSE declared the result and certified that Chanda passed the SSLC examination with a total of 91.83 per cent to secure 19th position in the merit list.
Chanda also obtained letter marks in English, mathematics, science and technology, social studies, computer science and additional English becoming the first student of Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School to achieve the feat.
