SHILLONG: As many as three Union ministers are scheduled to visit Shillong on Saturday and Sunday.
Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Forests, Environment and Climate Change, will visit Shillong on Saturday to inaugurate the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) Meghalaya at 6th Mile, Upper Shillong.
On the other hand, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Radha Mohan Singh will visit ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, at 11 am for farmer-scientist interaction.
Later, Singh will participate in the Meghalaya Milk Mission programme at Polo Grounds at 3 pm.
On Sunday, Union Minister of State in-charge of AYUSH, Shripad Naik, will visit Shillong to lay the foundation stone for the second phase of NEIAH at 10.30 am.
