BJP leader, former candidate join NPP

TURA: Two former candidates who contested the Assembly elections from Mahendraganj on separate occasions have joined the National People’s Party (NPP).

Premananda Koch, who was the District in-charge of the BJP in South West Garo Hills and Robert S Sangma, who contested as an independent candidate from the same constituency joined the party on Saturday. The two new members were welcomed into the party by GHADC CEM, Dipul R Marak and other party leaders at Betasing Party Office.
