Our Reporter adds: When contacted, Gurjit Singh said in their memorandum submitted to the Punjab chief minister, they never said Gurdwara Sahib and Guru Nanak School were destroyed.
“It is probably a mistake in the news reporting,” he said.
When contacted, East Khasi Hills DC PS Dkhar said he has not seen any report about any building being destroyed in the area during the recent unrest.
