BJP ward commissioner held with pistol while meeting CM Sonowal

GUWAHATI:  A BJP ward commissioner in eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh town , Sudama Pande was on Wednesday  held by the security personnel guarding Assam, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal after he had been found to possess a loaded .32 pistol while going to meet the CM at the circuit house in Dibrugarh.

The security personnel seize the licensed .32 pistol of the municipal ward commissioner and handed him over to local police. The BJP leader was being questioned. Further investigation was on.
