Independence Day Run in Tura on Aug 14

TURA: As part of the week-long celebration of Independence Day this year, a run for unity and integrity is being organised on August 14 by the district administration in collaboration with the district sports office in Tura.

The run which is open to all age groups will begin from Chandmary Playground at 6:30 A.M. and pass through Ringrey market, petrol pump, Indoor Stadium, Police Point (Hawakhana), Circuit House, Araimile and finish at Dikki Bandi Stadium in Dakopgre.

Informing that registration of participants will take place at the starting point on the same day, the District Sports Officer has appealed all citizens to participate and make the run a success.
