Shillong: After playing all their previous games against teams in their respective groups, the Meghalaya Baby League 2018 teams will now face off against different groups in an inter-conference day on Saturday. Twenty-five matches will be held at three venues – Third Ground, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the Futsal Ground – at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex between 10 teams. The 12 participating teams in MBL 2018 have been divided into two groups. Kickstart FCC Rhinos, Langsning Greenergy Lions, Mawlatbah SC Hawks, ENE Falcons, Unified Gorkha Gators and Little Star Clouded Leopards are in the Western Conference, while Sunnydale School Doves, Touchline NE Cubs, Nongthymmai GC Scorpions, Nongtrai Cheetahs, Wahlakhiat Bulls and JNS Jaguars comprise the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, the Falcons will take on the Jaguars at 9:30am. FCC Rhinos will square off against Nongtrai Cheetahs and Little Star Clouded Leopards will take on Sunnydale School Doves at 12:30pm. Wahlakhiat Bulls are set to play against the unbeaten Greenergy Lions at 12:50pm. At the same time, Nongthymmai GC Scorpions will take on Mawlatbah SC Hawks. The MBL is the joint initiative of Tata Trusts, the Meghalaya Football Association and the All India Football Federation.
