SHILLONG: Another baby was delivered in an ambulance in East Khasi Hills on Friday.
The Mawsynram based 108 team received a call to shift a patient identified as Batilda Mawlong (21) to a hospital. However, on the way to Mawphlang Hospital the woman went into labor. EMT Blesstar Jana assisted the woman to deliver a healthy baby girl in the ambulance. Later, both mother and the baby were shifted to Mawphlang CHC.
