CM, wife on crorepati list

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and his wife are crorepatis as declared by the former in his nomination papers.
As per the affidavit filed by Sangma, the total gross value of his movable asset is Rs 93,40,296 and he also owns non-agricultural land in five locations whose current market value is more than Rs 79 lakh.
He owns two flats in Guwahati and the approximate current market value is more than Rs 43 lakh. The five vehicles which he has declared in the papers are worth more than Rs 64 lakh.
On the other hand, the gross total value of the moveable asset of his spouse, Mehtab CA Sangma, is Rs 31 lakh and she also owns a flat in Delhi and its current market value is Rs 2.7 crore. Mehtab is a doctor (private practioner) and she is also into business.
MM Danggo, who is contesting the Ranikor by-poll on NPP ticket, is little short of a crorepati. The gross total value of his moveable asset is Rs 10 lakh and he owns one agricultural land worth Rs 84,000 (current market value), besides a non-agricultural land worth Rs 72,000.
He also owns a residential building in Ranikor and the approximate current market value of the building is more than Rs 10 lakh.
The gross total value of his spouse’s moveable asset is Rs 19 lakh and she also owns non-agricultural and agricultural land and residential building worth Rs 50 lakh (current market value).
