Teachers ask govt to release 4 months’ salary

SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya SSA School Teachers Association, Ri-Bhoi district demanded the state government to release the salary of the SSA teachers.
In a statement issued here, the association stated that the salary of the teachers is pending for the last 4 months and 8 months arrear.
They have demanded to release the SSA salary through personal account. The association also supports the agitation of SSA teachers in Garo Hills which will be held on Wednesday.
