SHILLONG: The law department on Tuesday said it had issued an instruction on August 1 to all the public prosecutors, government pleaders, additional and assistant public prosecutors to continue to perform their duties till further order.
In a statement on Tuesday, the under secretary to law department also clarified that the list of prosecutors has not expired as the list made on June 30, 2017 was until further order. “They have to continue performing their duties until further orders”, the statement said.
