3×3 Independence Day Cup Basketball tourney on August 15
SHILLONG: Meghalaya Basketball Association in collaboration with Touchline Northeast will conduct a one day ‘3×3 Independence Day Cup 2018’ on August 15, 2018 from 8.00 am onwards at JN Stadium Basketball Court. The event is being held as a part of the country’s Independence Day celebration. There will be two Categories i.e. Men’s/Women’s Open and Youth Level (Under 17 years) for both Boys and Girls. The last day for submission of entries will be on August13, 2018.

26th inter school & 8th inter college karate tournament
SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association will be organizing its Annual 26th Inter School & 8th Inter College Karate Tournament 2018 at Indoor Sports Hall, J.N. Sports Complex, Polo Ground, Shillong on August 10 and 11, 2018. Shri Banteidor Lyngdoh, Hon’ble Minister, Sports, etc and Shri Adelbert Nongrum, MLA 17th North Shillong Constituency will grace the occasion as Chief Guest during the Opening and Closing Ceremony. All participating Schools and Karatekas are to report at 8:30 AM on the August 10,2018.

NEHU inter college sports C’ship
SHILLONG: The NEHU Inter College Badminton (Men & Women), Table Tennis (Men & Women) and Chess (Combined) Tournament 2018 will be conducted on August 20, 21 and 23, 2018 at the NEHU Permanent Campus. The last date of entry for the same will be 13th August 2018.
