Nod to Prisons Services Rules

SHILLONG: The State Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Meghalaya Prisons Service Rules since the department does not have its own service rules.
The Cabinet also approved the name of (Retd.) Col Gautam Kumar Rai as Director of Sainik Welfare Board, Meghalaya.
The Cabinet further approved the name of (Retd.) Major (Dr.) Khumukcham Ibochouba Singh as Zila Sainik Welfare Officer.
