MUPSTA
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA), South West Khasi Hills unit will hold its general meeting on August 11 at the Court of U Syiem Maharam, Mawkyrwat at 11:00 am. The association has requested all the teachers under the banner of the MUPSTA (Improved and Adhoc) of South West Khasi Hills to attend the meeting.
NEC I-Day
North Eastern Council will celebrate the 71st Independence Day with the unfurling of the national flag by the Secretary NEC Ram Muivah and will be followed by the National Anthem, deliberations on duties for nation building at 7.30 am at the NEC Secretariat, Nongrim Hills, on August 15.
Kali Puja
The SEC Kalipuja Committee has informed that the annual Kali Puja will be held on August 10 from 6 am onwards at the premises of Shillong Electric Crematorium, T. B. Hospital Road, Jhalupara.
