Shillong: The second edition of the Cosplay festival will be held on August 18 at All Saints Hall, Shillong from 10 am onwards.
The Shangri – La Cosplay Festival aims to celebrate modern pop culture appertaining to elements of costume play (cosplay), comic books, animation, gaming, music and other forms of artistic outlets. The event emphasises on self-expression through creativity, providing a positive outlet for youths. The event provides a platform for aspirants and mentors to come together and exchange ideas and skills.
The first edition of the Cosplay Festival was held on January 2017. The Shangri-La festival, an all day event will be hosted by Empyre Concord and Neotakus in collaboaration with Metropolis Asia.
