1st 3×3 Independence Day Cup

SHILLONG: The 1st 3×3 Independence Day Cup was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Polo on the Wednesday. The tournament was organised by the Meghalaya Basketball Association (MBA) in collaboration with Touchline-Northeast. A total of 51 teams participated in the tournament comprising of 24 men’s teams, 10 women’s teams, 9 U-17 boy’s teams and 8 U-17 girl’s teams. SKKRRAAPP emerged as champions in the men’s category and Hoop it up won the women’s category. JAGUARS claimed top position in the U-17 Boys category and Tyllilang Basketball Academy emerged as champions in the Under 17 Girls Category. MBA president Clive W Dunai was also present as the chief guest.
