Friends and family members pay tribute to the mortal remains of former Indian cricketer Ajit Wadekar during his funeral procession, in Mumbai on Friday. Wadekar passed away on Wednesday evening at 77. He had represented India in 37 Test matches from 1966 and 1974 and had made his first-class debut in 1958, before making his foray into international cricket in 1966. He has also been considered as one of the finest fielders in cricket. The Union Government had honoured him with the Arjuna Award in 1967 and Padmashri in 1972. (PTI)
