Shillong: The Meghalaya Baby League (MBL) 2018 will witness another day of inter-conference matches here on Saturday. Fifteen matches will be played at two venues – Third Ground and the Futsal Ground – at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex between six teams. The 12 participating teams in the MBL 2018 have been divided into two conferences. Kickstart FCC Rhinos, Langsning Greenergy Lions, Mawlatbah SC Hawks, ENE Falcons, Unified Gorkha Gators and Little Star Clouded Leopards are in the Western Conference, while Sunnydale School Doves, Touchline NE Cubs, Nongthymmai GC Scorpions, Nongtrai Cheetahs, Wahlakhiat Bulls and JNS Jaguars are in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, Rhinos will take on the Scorpions at 9:30am. Meanwhile, Greenergy Lions will go up against the Cubs at 12 noon. The Hawks will also face off against the Cheetahs at the same time. The MBL 2018 is a joint initiative of Tata Trusts, the Meghalaya Football Association and the All India Football Federation.
