SHILLONG: The FKJGP East Khasi Hills District carried out an inspection during which the members found that most shopkeepers do not possess trading and labour licences.
The inspection was carried out at Stand Jeep, Garikhana, Upper Mawprem and Last Stop Laban.
The organisation alleged that inspector from the KHADC would renew the trading licence on behalf of non-tribal shopkeepers.
The organisation will meet the CEM to apprise him of the situation.
