SHILLONG: BJP Minister A.L. Hek will campaign for MDA candidate from South Tura, Conrad Sangma, while he will not campaign for any political party in Ranikor as the candidates are all MDA partners. He reached Shillong on Saturday from Delhi and will leave for Tura on Sunday morning to campaign for Chief Minister. When asked as to whether he will campaign at Ranikor, Hek pointed out that contest of all MDA partners-UDP, NPP and PDF makes it difficult for him to campaign for a single party.
“In Ranikor, there are three MDA candidates and it is not wise to campaign for a single political party. As an MDA partner, we will campaign only for Tura because they only have one MDA candidate that is Conrad Sangma,” he said.
