Syiem claims fight is against Danggo

SHILLONG: PDF candidate for Ranikor by-poll P N Syiem said on Saturday that the fight is between him and NPP candidate MM Danggo.
The by-election is slated for August 23.
Syiem said his priority is to improve road connectivity, initiate two border haats and adequate educational institutions.
According to Syiem, as the leader of PDF, he has responsibilities towards the people of Ranikor.
“Conrad Sangma is the leader of NPP and Donkupar Roy is the leader of UDP and in a similar way, as the leader of PDF, I am committed to improving the living conditions of the people of Ranikor,” he said.
( Syiem said Ranikor needs overall development, including construction of a college to ensure that students get proper education.
He added that the border areas of Ranikor also need development. “Another cause for concern is the poor road network in the area which needs immediate attention,” Syiem said.
