SHILLONG: A meeting was conducted by the Citizens Foundation for Human Development (CFHD) with the active cooperation of the All Meghalaya Muster Roll Workers Union (AMMRWU) at Mawthadraishan Block wherein a large numbers of muster roll workers, ASHA and Anganwadi attended the meeting to discuss their grievances and issues relating to their occupations.
One of the outcomes of the meeting was the formation of Mawthadraishan Block Muster Roll Workers Union under the aegis of the AMMRWU to help the workers of the area to take up their pending issues and grievances to the higher authorities.
The meeting was held at the Indoor Stadium at Kynshi on the August 21, 2018. The meeting was chaired by Kiewshaphrang JW Thabah the Treasurer of the CFHD.
The meeting was also attended by the ASHA and Anganwadi of the block to highlight about the matter which is related to them.
The Foundation will look into the matter concerning them and also find the way to solve the problem which is facing them.
