25-yr-old woman’s body in Tura yet to be claimed

SHILLONG: The body of a 25-year-old woman, who was found wandering in a North Garo Hills village and who died five days ago, is kept in Tura Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claiming.
The North Garo Hills SP office informed that on August 8, Sapna M Sangma, who was from Nongalbibra in South Garo Hills, was found wandering at Domeanti. She was taken to Civil Hospital after the medical officer referred her to a psychiatrist.
On August 17, telephonic information was received from Police Booth (Civil Hospital, Tura) that she passed away.
The young woman had black hair and 5 feet tall with medium built. She had swarthy complexion and an oval-shaped face. She was wearing light pink top and black/white checked pyjamas.
