SHILLONG: The Hynn-iewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) is “surprised” with the response of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council with regard to trading licence.
KHADC executive member Antonio War said the Council is helpless on the issuance of trading licences.
Addressing the press on Wednesday, general secretary of HNYF Shillong region Faster Kharmujai said, “When we went to meet the executive member, he said the district council only gives its recommendations following the NOC given by the Dorbar Shnong.”
HNYF recently met War with regard to issuing of trading licences by KHADC. The organisation added that they would follow up the matter.
