No-entry
The office of the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, has informed that there will be “No-Entry” of vehicles from Laitumkhrah Traffic Branch Junction towards Laitumkhrah Traffic Branch, Sebastian Bia Road and Ramakrishna Mission. This arrangement is on a trial basis in which the result will be notified later.
Pension Adalat
Circle Level Pension Adalat for department of Posts, North East Circle will be held in the office of the Chief Postmaster General, NE Circle on September 18 at 11 am. The complainants are requested to send their grievances in plain paper to the Accounts Officer (Accounts) office of Chief Postmaster general, NE Circle, Shillong-1 by speed post within September 10.
Meeting
The annual general meeting of the Loreto Alumnae Association Shillong will be held on September 1 at 2pm in the School Hall. All Loreto past pupils are requested to attend.
Ritual
Shillong Sahasralinga Prativa Puja Committee organised its annual 11-day vedic and puranic rituals from August 15 and it will culminate on August 25 in Meghalaya Hindu Mission, Mawprem. The 11 Yogya will be culminated with Purnahuti at 12 noon followed by prasad distributuion.
